The Greater East Texas Community Action Program is committed to helping at-risk youths and adults gain the education they need to compete in the workforce. Through our youth literacy program, we help residents of Nacogdoches, TX and the Greater East Texas area build their understanding of the professional world and how they can fit into it.

What can you expect our program to do for you?

Our program is designed to help youths and adults that need:

  • GED classes - for those who didn't finish high school but want to show that they have high school level skills in reading, writing and mathematics
  • ESL classes - a great way for those who list English as a second language to build their understanding of the language
  • ABE classes - for adults who don't have a high school education and want to improve their math, reading and written communication skills
